If your window has an arch or curve, like this wonderful patio, curtains make a great choice.
Curtain poles can sit above the arch’s highest point so that your window is completely covered by the fabric – you could even choose a couple of curtains and have them sit at different heights at the window for a gorgeous – and practical – effect.
Our advisors will talk you through all of the options available to you.
Multiple windows that are positioned close together are a wonderful architectural feature, but they can be problematic when it comes to dressing them. Choosing a single curtain that is wide enough to cover them all is a simple, fuss-free option that creates a thoroughly modern look window.
Take inspiration from this pretty pastel green living room and add a single Alder Celadon curtain to multiple sliding doors for a gorgeous look, as well as enhanced levels of light control.
If your windows are unusually small or just smaller than you’d like, consider dressing them with curtains. Curtains can help create the illusion of both height and width when creatively positioned.
Try placing your curtain pole a few inches clear of the top of your window for height, then ensure your pole is long enough so the curtain fabric can gather on the wall at the side of your window (clearing the glass completely), when not in use.
If you’re lucky enough to have unusually large or feature windows, like a bay or French door, you’ll want to make sure they’re dressed to perfection.
Curtains, as well as being incredibly practical, also add a luxurious touch to a space, so make a fantastic choice.
Choose a textured fabric for an inviting look and a rich colour for depth and definition, then watch your window transform into your room’s focal point.
