If you’re looking to follow our whole Calm Living ethos throughout your home to create a full-on flowing vibe of serenity from room to room, then you’ll need to think about the type of products you can use in certain rooms such as bathrooms, where there’s more humidity or water that could damage normal fabrics. Our faux-wood venetian blinds are a great choice for these types of rooms, being made from PVC so they’re more practical with a waterproof and wipe-clean finish that won’t warp if they get wet. Zen Whisper features a painted wood effect finish and it’s a heavy cream colour with just a touch of beige to it that gives it a more earthy hue and stops it being overly rich but rather a more natural feel. Being neutral, it will work well with other colours, if you need it to fit in with an existing colour scheme.

Child Safety

All Hillarys products conform to European safety legislation. When you buy a Wooden blind, your Hillarys fitter will also install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. Having a safety device is a legal requirement even in homes without children.
