Product Details
While Boucle may not be a familiar word, the fabric itself is probably one you’ll recognise, especially when you take a look at our Nest range. Boucle has a fleecy appearance, thanks to the loops created by the yarn which is what actually gives it the name – boucle is French for loop, or curl. You can really see the texture of the fabric in sight, and despite its weight it creates a sense of softness at your window. It’s also quite useful in absorbing noise, so it can really help create that snug nest feeling you need. Nest Chalk is the palest version of the range, an off-white with flecks of grey in varying shades, the broken weave keeping the overall colour light and airy. Grey is always a popular colour due to its versatility and boucle is starting to make a comeback in interior design too so curtains in Nest Chalk will really put you ahead of the trend.

Cleaning Tips
All our curtain fabrics are dry clean only, but there are other ways to keep your curtains looking great for longer. You can gently vacuum by using the upholstery attachment on your machine, or use a steamer starting at the top and working in large sweeping movements to the bottom of the curtains. For velvet fabrics, steam them from the lining side only. It is important to avoid getting water or steam on the face of the fabric as this may cause permanent damage. Check the fabric swatch for more information. Note: Curtains may shrink up to 3% after the first dry clean.
Child Safety
Standard curtains themselves are inherently child safe. However, as with all window dressings where cords are used, you should take steps to regularly check that your curtains are safe for children. This includes making sure that any cords used to hold header pleats in place are tied together and secured at all times, especially if you decide to adjust the header pleats after your curtains have been fitted. Never leave a length of cord exposed. Curtain tie-backs can also pose a risk to young children when they are looped in place around your curtains. We do not recommend curtain tie-backs in homes where young children are resident or visit. If you choose a corded curtain option, additional child safety devices will be fitted as standard. A tension spring device will be included to keep the cords under constant tension and a safety hook will be fitted to an adjacent wall with the cords hooked through to keep them out of reach of children.
