Product Details

New collections mean new colours, and we think this Duette® blind in Silk Muted Iris is one you’ll fall in love with. It’s a gentle nod to purple; elegant, understated and surprisingly easy to style. It’s got just enough colour to make things interesting, but with the volume turned right down. Think of it as a dusky mauve with a warm, earthy base, perfect if you love colour but want to keep things calm and collected. The silk-like texture adds a gorgeous softness, giving the blind a subtle shimmer that plays with the light. Pair it with natural colours – vanilla creams, olive greens, or even lemon yellow, like the flower it takes its name from.

Cleaning Tips

Keep your Pleated blinds looking bright and fresh by using a clean, dry duster or the upholstery brush attachment on your vacuum. To avoid wrinkling or ripping the fabric, be careful not to press against the pleats too hard. If there is a little more than dust to contend with use a damp sponge dipped in lukewarm water to wipe across the pleats. Make sure the sponge ist only damp not wet and work from the top down. It's best not to use fabric conditioner on your blinds as the material can stain. Tougher marks can be removed with a specialist fabric stain remover or spray foam but please follow the manufacturer’s instructions closely, and test a small, inconspicuous area first if in doubt.

Child Safety

At Hillarys we do everything we can to make sure our products are safe for children. As a minimum, all of our blinds meet the European Standard BS EN 13120 for both performance and safety. Beyond this, safety is at the forefront of our minds right through the design process as we strive to make products that are not only stylish and high-quality, but also safe. As all our Pleated blinds are pull-cord operated, your Hillarys advisor will install a discreet little cleat or hook for the cord to wrap around, so there are no loose strings. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the ground.
