The science behind the design

Windows are one of the biggest places where heat moves in and out of a room. In winter, warm indoor air naturally circulates towards a cold window and loses heat. Duette® blinds trap a layer of air inside their honeycomb pockets, creating insulation that keeps the warmth in your room instead of escaping through the glass. In summer, the same insulating layer slows down hot air and radiant heat from outside, helping to keep the room cooler.
