You’ll need to arrange an in-home appointment with Hillarys to buy your blinds. We provide an in-home service; our blinds are not available to buy online. During the in-home appointment your local Hillarys advisor will show you the range of products, your windows will be measured and you’ll be given a price for the blinds you want to buy. You can choose to buy your blinds during the appointment or you’ll be given a quote so you can take some time to think about it. There is never any pressure to buy during an in-home appointment with Hillarys, and your quote is valid for 12 weeks.
You pay for your blinds when you place your order. Hillarys advisors have chip and PIN machines and this is our preferred method of payment. We accept Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards.
You can also pay in-home direct from your bank account. Your advisor will share a QR code for you to scan, and this will take you to your banking app to make the payment.
If you are placing an order at a date later than your appointment, you can pay over the phone or online – we will send you an email with a link to a payment portal.
Flexible payment options are available, subject to eligibility, when you spend over £500.
At Hillarys we offer a complete made-to-measure service that includes the product of your choice plus in home measuring and professional fitting every time. As measuring and fitting is always included in the price of our products, we do not show the cost of our service separate to the cost of our products.
We believe our prices offer excellent value for money. Buying made to measure ensures a great fit, and it means you don’t have to worry about getting the measurements right, having all the equipment you need to take care of the fitting or adjusting or replacing items that have been incorrectly measured. Plus our advisors have plenty of practical advice when it comes to choosing the right product for your home.
All of our blinds are made to order, which takes a little bit of time! Most are ready to fit in two to three weeks but some styles might take longer, up to four weeks.
The time needed to fit a blind really does depend on each order and other details such as the size and location of the window, the number of blinds to be fitted and the operating system you’ve chosen. As a rough guide, allow around 20 minutes per blind.
