Venetian Blinds

Venetian blinds are the epitome of contemporary sophistication. With a simple tilting operation, they allow you to optimise light in your home. Resilient to conditions throughout the home, our Venetian blinds are versatile as well as attractive.

Create or complement a minimalist interior with classic whites or earthy charcoals. Opt for a more vibrant look with oranges, pinks or purples. With our selection of over 90 colours, there is something to suit every décor.

Choose narrower slats for a neat look at small windows or wider slats to let in more light when open. Venetian blinds can filter the light or cut it out completely. Tilting the slats downwards allows you to achieve privacy but also let light into the room. Alternatively, pull your Venetian up fully to reveal a clear view of the outside world.

Made from the highest quality aluminium, Venetian blinds can be easily cleaned and stand up to the humidity of kitchens and bathrooms. Our choice of Venetians includes matt finishes and metallic options. Perforated filtra Venetains diffuse the light and our Aluwood collection combines the natural look of wood with the practicality of aluminium; perfect for humid locations.

Specification

Chic whites and creams, contemporary silvers and greys, subtle shades and vivid brights all feature in our selection of over 90 shades. Choose from four slat widths to suit your windows; 15mm, 25mm, 35mm and 50mm. You can adjust the amount of light filtered into the room with a tilt rod and raise and lower the blind with a pull cord.

Venetians can be fitted to tilt and turn, Velux® or skylight windows with tension wires and a bottom rail to ensure they stay in place when the window is opened or closed. Made using the finest materials and specially treated to prevent fading, aluminium Venetians retain colour throughout their working life.

Made-to-measure for the specific needs of individual customers, every single Hillarys blind is unique. Customising the size, fabric, colour, control options and finishes of each blind makes it very difficult for us to give you a price indication.

Whether you opt for a basic blind or a premium choice, we offer excellent value. Always ask your Advisor for details of current promotions. Example: The Neary family from Dundalk wanted a blind that would stand up to high temperatures and humidity while cooking in their kitchen. They chose a vibrant yellow Venetian for just €65.

Top tips

Venetians are the ideal choice for skylight windows and french doors. Tension wires and a bottom rail allows the blind to stay flush to the window or door when opened and closed. The bold colour adds a vibrant feeling into this contemporary bathroom.
