Quality Assurance
Each unique Roman blind is individually crafted to meet our rigorous standards. Materials are specially selected for their quality, strength and durability to enhance the life and appearance of your blind.
Meticulous light fastness, humidity and temperature tests ensure that our blinds stand up to conditions in the busiest of homes. We’re sure you’ll be happy with your Roman, that’s why we offer a 12-month guarantee.
Pricing
Made-to-measure for the specific needs of individual customers, every single Hillarys blind is unique. Customising the size, fabric, colour, control options and finishes of each blind makes it very difficult for us to give you a price indication.
Whether you opt for a basic blind or a premium choice, we offer excellent value. Always ask your Advisor for details of current promotions. Example: Mr and Mrs Carroll from Cavan brightened up their living room with a lined Roman blind in Rocas Aqua. When they learned of a multi-blind promotion they decided to extend the look to their bathroom. They got three lined Roman blinds, matching all of the windows in the front of their house for just €449.
Accessories
For a stylish finish, a chic metallic chain can be added to deluxe Roman blinds. A chrome finish complements contemporary interiors, while the antique finish looks charming in a traditional home. Accessorise with a sparkling beaded trim for extra glamour on cascade and deluxe fully-lined Roman blinds.
Make it Child Safe
Never place beds, cots or furniture near a window where children can climb on the sill. Keep your blind controls out of the reach of children and always ensure safety devices are fitted. A safety hook or a cleat should be fitted with your Roman blind if you have children at home, even just for a visit.
If you have a luxury Roman blind, your advisor will shorten the control chain length as much as possible - the reduced chain then fits into the safety hook, keeping it taut and close to the wall.
If you have a standard Roman blind operated by a cord, a cleat should be fitted to the wall and the cords tied around this in a figure of eight. Your advisor will fit the cleat as high up the wall as possible and cut the cords of the blind as short as possible while still allowing it to operate.
