Can I put shutters in a bathroom?

Yes, shutters are an effective solution for bathroom windows. With moisture resistant properties, our range of Henley shutters made from ABS are really easy to wipe clean and can withstand humidity without warping, cracking, or deteriorating over time.

They are also great for ventilation. By adjusting the louvres, you can direct airflow into the bathroom, promoting proper air circulation and reducing the build up of moisture and odors to help maintain a fresh and healthy bathroom environment. Shutters also offer excellent privacy control, allowing you to adjust the louvres to create a level of seclusion while still allowing natural light to enter.

Can shutters help with temperature control in my bathroom?

Yes, shutters are an excellent way to control temperature and improve the energy efficiency of your home. They fit snugly at your window, helping to reduce draughts that can slip through the gaps in your frames by providing a barrier at your window that keeps the cold out and the warmth in. We worked with the experts at Salford University to understand how our products can help prevent heat loss. The results from their specially created lab, the 'Energy House' showed that our shutters reduce heat loss by 36%. In the months of summer, shutters are great for keeping rooms cool too. Tilt the louvres closed when the sun is at its hottest to keep your space at a comfortable temperature.
