Meet Pandora

Interiors obsessive Pandora lives in a 1960s farmhouse, which recently won BBC One’s Best House in Town thanks to her eclectic, boho style. Here she talks about her gorgeous garden room, which has been transformed with stunning Roman blinds.

Pandora’s style

My style is difficult to pinpoint, because every room in my house is so different; some are brimming over with colour and others are calm and neutral. I’m a huge fan of maximalism though, and my home is full of family memorabilia, plenty of plants and artwork. I don’t like things to feel too ‘matchy matchy’ – I like to mix it up a bit.

I was particularly interested in the app my advisor used – he could show me how my fabric choices would look in situ at my windows, which was really clever.

In the shade

Our garden room is really the hub of our family life, we spend a lot of time in here together. There are 10 windows, which give us amazing views but can let in too much light when the sun shines. Having individual Roman blinds means we can adjust them to block out any harsh glare as the sun moves throughout the day. Plus, as they’re made to measure they fit perfectly and are as functional as they are beautiful.

Having made-to-measure feels like such a treat – I don’t think I’ve ever had blinds that fitted so well.
