Browse the fabrics from the Zen collection and create a harmonious look that you’ll love.
We recently introduced the Zen collection to Laura Vinden, Shopping & News Editor at Homes & Gardens magazine and asked her to pick out the fabric that she feels best represents this season’s interior style direction.
“For me, Honesty is the stand out blue blinds fabric; I love how the motif has a nod to Japanese style and the pattern is abstract enough not to be overbearing. It will subtly add colour and interest to a scheme.”
Get the look
The subtle shades in this gorgeous floral print give you lots of scope to create unique looks for your home. Laura shared her own inspirational ideas for different interior looks. She told us: “I can see this design being really easy to use, and as it's so versatile would look great as smart Roman blinds or as fuller curtains giving a grown up elegant look”.
Mix sheer and opaque styles
If you want to add a soft finish to a sleek Roman blind, team with sheer white Voile curtains for a light and airy feel that delicately diffuses the light. This combination of opaque and sheer textures is a design feature that is used extensively in Japanese interiors, where delicate screens are used to provide privacy while allowing lots of natural light into the home.
Combine statement prints
For a bolder layered look, combine prints for a textural finish that’s sure to make a statement. Here we’ve teamed beautiful geometric Origami Mist blue curtains with our Honesty Mist Roman blinds, for a contemporary twist on classic styling.
Choose punchy pastels
The Honesty fabric is also available in a deliciously warm Persimmon hue, and Laura explained why she thinks that this collection is perfect for this season’s stylish interiors. She told us: “ The Zen Collection, as the name suggests has a wonderfully tranquil feel as a kitchen blind. The simple palette of misty blues and soft orange tones is right on trend as the cool new pastel combination for spring / summer 17.
