Top ten reasons

why we love Vertical blinds

There are so many reasons why we love Vertical blinds here at Hillarys. And following the launch of our new Verticals collection this winter, we wanted to share our top ten with you!

There are over 230 fabrics in the new range, making it our biggest ever collection. Key trends for 2013 include Ikat dying techniques, classic monochrome designs, bright retro prints and warm red shades.

Lots of lovely tactile designs are included in the range, such as basket weaves and a popular herringbone fabric. If you’d like to give your room a fresh look for the New Year, use different textures in your home to create depth and interest.

It’s easy to make a bold window statement with Vertical blinds, or they can blend seamlessly with your existing décor. Plains and neutral fabrics are our biggest sellers but there are lots of options for customers who want something a bit brighter.

Our collection of sheer fabrics are the perfect contemporary alternative to old fashioned net curtains and provide fingertip control over privacy. Team your Vertical blinds with curtains for a warm and cosy effect.

Vertical blinds are incredibly versatile. They’re sleek, simple and are the perfect window solution for patio doors or large windows. They can also be made to fit a sloping window.

So many customers choose Vertical blinds because they combine both functionality and style. We’ve a range of performance fabrics, including dim out and flame retardant fabrics.

You can control the amount of light that comes into your room using the louvres. Tilt them open to let light in and close them to block light out. Or if you’ve got a home office and want to prevent sunlight reflecting on your computer screen, our glare reduction fabric is the perfect option.

Teflon coated or PVC louvres are ideal for bathrooms and kitchens as they keep any moisture out of the fabric and are easy to wipe clean. They’re particularly useful if the window is situated above your sink.

We offer a range of louvres that are machine washable. So if your Vertical blinds are looking a little dusty, you can pop them in the washing machine. Then they’ll look brand new when you hang your blinds back up.

In our Biggest Ever January Sale, selected Vertical blinds are now half price. To see our full range, make an appointment with your local Hillarys advisor today!
